I've got very good floor pans with minimal rust. I spent some time yesterday wire brushing the surface rust. The photos are from prior to most of my wire brush work.

1. Should I just hit those spots with POR-15 now and call it good? Would you paint the entire floor with it?

2. I did have to remove some of that factory rubber seam stuff in one section since it was so loose. What is that stuff called and should I put the por-15 in the seam first and then replace the seam sealer on top of the por-15 or just re-seal the seam with new seam sealer (replacement product name?)

3. I was thinking I'd hit the surface area repair with some touch up paint - can you paint right over the por-15?

4. Any good sources for some touch up paint in a spray can. I know, not ideal but hey it will be under my carpet ;-)

Thanks for any help.

Darcy,
I would put the POR-15 in the seam first and then seam seal over it, WAIT until it is almost completely dry. Same goes for your paint top coat, touch up the spots with the POR-15, then wait. When it is dry enough that you can drag your finger across it and just barely leave a mark you can top coat it. Your floors are the same color as my old Duster, not too many colors out there for that, but you should be able to just go over the POR-5 with a rattle can with a similar color and be ok. Good luck
