Would somebody please recommend a good, relatively inexpensive, three wire alternator that puts out around 90 amp?
I've currently got a 75 amp unit. But, when I have both electric fans on high and have the headlights on, everything gets dim. Plus I can hear the fans slow down.
The fans and headlights are on relays.
Plus, I'm running an Accel 300+ ignition system.
I thought about doing a conversion to a one wire alternator but after reading what MAD Electrical has to say about three wire units, I think I'm going to stick with it.
