I found some 73 disc brake set up. I have a /6 drum and would like to upgrade. Can i use the control arms from the drums. I need your guy's help please.

I switched from drums to disc on my 1964 Valiant. I took disc setup from a 1975 Duster. I had to use the upper control arm from the 1975 Duster, but retained the lower control arm from the 1964 Valiant. This I beleive, is because of the different size balljoint for the disc spindle on the upper control arm. Mike

Just sent you a PM on it.

A '73 is large ball joint upper control arm. 1972 back used the same smaller ball joint on both drum and disc.

Cheers

If the spindles and rotors you are swapping on are from a 71 (small bolt pattern, K-H 4-piston) then your existing control arms and upper ball joints will work. If you had 9" drums, you will need the appropriate disk lower ball joint.
