Here is what I have... An 8 3/4 housing from an E Body (WILL have shortened to A Body length - 52 5/8" width) New Perches (43") along with a 3:55 S/G pumpkin and A Body axles that are drilled for both 4" & 4.5" bolt pattern.
The question I have is... Knowing A Body axles sit inwards slightly towards the flange and have smaller register. What are my options as for rear brakes? 10" Drums/ Backing Plate with 1 3/4" pads with redrilled drums for 4.5" bbp or is there a way to use 10" Backing plates with 2 1/2" pads for a 4.5" bbp without going to a Moser axle?
