Need help with ralley wheel trim rings

I've got 14" x5 1/2" wide rims(Ralleys) .My question is what is the correct trim ring depth? I've got 2 1/4 deep rings now, but they don't seem to fit correctly. There seems to be a gap between the rim and trim ring. Any help or comments would be helpful.

I too have a set of 14" X 5 1/2" rallye wheels. I purchased (from Suburban (?) on e-bay) a set of 1 3/4" deep rings that are a little shallow. I believe a 2" deep ring would be perfect.
