need info on a set of vintage m/t wheels

I believe those centers were aluminum and not magnesium....gonna need pic of your actual wheel....most magnesium wheels were ALL magnesium 1 piece wheel.

That looks seriously corroded, enough to weaken the metal. I really wonder if they are safe to use?

you are correct thanks... had them ckd out today they are 60s was told the rust wasn't even a issue...just spider webs and dirt...
