need longer wheel studs but need help..

So i'm trying to find longer wheel studs that press in for my duster but a little confused on the knurl diameter. Do i measure the major diameter of the knurl or the inner diameter of the knurl? I tried searching the net and only came up with one site that said measure right underneath the bolt head (the major diameter of the knurl). Any help would be great.

Front 3" long wheel studs

ARP-#100-7703
These fit the front disc setup of 73 up model years.
These are much nicer than the Moroso long studs.
