I picked up one of the PowerMaster alternators. It's stock size, fits the stock brackets, but it puts out 85 amps (I think). I haven't had any charging problems since installing it.

I just ordered a new alternator from a guy on Ebay. It's gonna be a small chrysler (88-98 caravan/jeep) with a v belt pulley, 130 amps and internally regulated. price: $ 99 +25 shipping. He's also going to sent the wire to go to the battery. I noticed the mounting ears are long on these alternators so I'm assuming they will mount easily in place of my full sized one.
