I need some torque specs, Im ready to put my new disc brake set up on this weekend . I need them for the axle nut, tie rod ends , idler arm. ball joints upper and lower, upper control arms , shocks .Thanks guys

Found on another site for you... Hope it helps

pitman arm-nut on steering gear 175ft.lbs. nut on other end 37ft.lbs.
tie rod adjuster sleeve nut and bolt 132in.lbs.
all tie rod nuts 37ft.lbs.
idler arm nut and bolt 70ft.lbs.
steering gear bolts 100ft.lbs.
lower ball joint nut85ft.lbs.
inner pivot shaft lower control arm145ft.lbs.
lower control arm strut-metal rod that runs at angle toward lower ball joint inner end towards frame -nut 45ft.lbs. end toward b.joint -nut 105ft.lbs.
rebound bumper 200in.lbs.

For all fasteners with a castle nut do not back the nut off to line up the hole. If it doesn't line up either tighten it more or knock the 2 components apart and then tighten them up again and see if it lines up after achieving proper torque. If you loosen the nut to line up the holes for the cotter key you run the risk of having the components come loose and then trashing the taper.

what does the front axle nut torque at and upper ball joints, upper control arms and where the bolts go through the spindle for lower ball joint

Front axle nut? Do you mean the nut for the front wheel bearings? I always do that one by feel.

The upper control arm cam bolts will get tightened by whoever does the alignment, but I recall them being 1/2" hardened bolts so my guess is 100 ft lbs.

Lbj to spindle depends upon what you have for front brakes. Different cars had different diameter bolts in this location which require different torque specs.

5/8 inch bolts on lbj i switched over to disc and they have bigger bolts then drum. I dont really think u can over tighten these. 100 to 125 ft lbs maybe
