New Dart project

My Son-in-law just bought this 1973 swinger with a 1971 demon front end on it. Has a good 360 in it, disc brakes on the front from a 74 dart all floor pans solid and trunk pan solid to. Paid $1,200 for it. Looks like a good car. Only draw back it has a lock up tranny.

I dig it, I see it lime green with a black stripe down the side and a hood scoop.

Wow greendart72 you picked up a great deal on that car.
I do not know very much about your car but it sure sound's like you do not have very much cash in it. So let's pull the tran's and have some one rebuild it.
Or Is it an automatic? what does it do when you put it in gear?
Has it been setting very long? You may be able to pull the pan and have the valve body checked out.
There will be more experienced people chime in, But they will need some of this info.

It,s a auto with a lock up tourqe converter, We bought it from a FABO member (Rollercamdart) Just drove it it lays bacon strips!!!. just got the motor running good.

First we have to finish my shop

Then it's sand and primer time. We are going to paint it ourselves, so guess well see if we can do it. Going to pick up new bucket seats for it tomorrow, the interior need some work. Dash pad is shot and the cardbord headliner is trashed. Rollerdart did all the hard stuff turning a 6cly car into a V8, putting on the disc brakes and changing the rear-end. Are hat is of to you Cody Thanks for selling us a good dart to trick out!!! The brown color on the trunk of the Coronet is the color to be used on the dart, maybe as a two tone. Larry want to put scoops on it too.
