New job for me!

After 12 years working in a factory i am finally getting out and starting a new job on April 9th.
I'll be working for Lowe's at one of there distribution centers,it's gonna be more money to start than i am making now and the benefits are also alot better than i have now.
Tomorrow i have to go for a drug test and then i can give my 2 weeks notice!:salut:

I haven't been this excited since i ate that whole bottle of Viagra!:tongue9:

I will be trying for the same job in Findlay, OH. Will apply later this week, have to wait until guy I know tells me to apply, is a manager and friends with the hiring manager, then he gives me a good recommendation and I'm good to go.
 
Congrats, Kev...where's the new center at...Coal Twp? That area is really starting to grow.

No it's between Interstate 81 and Minersville,there's a few distribution centers there Lowe's,Sears,Wegmans,Wal-Mart and Sarah Lee is also putting one in.

They make you go for a drug test? I've never heard of that, even in pro sports that's only done at random.

Yep it's mandatory,even the company i work for now does a once a year mandatory drug test and if you refuse to take your automatically terminated.

Congrats,

At 37 years old, I started a new job, took a pay cut, and I'm in a whole new career. I started last February, now 13 months later I am happy as can be, to top it all off, my company got bought by Boeing! Sometimes changing jobs and careers is the best thing for the soul.
