Have been checking out site for a while now.Lots of good info that is really appreciated. I am building a 69 REAL P-CODE 340 Swinger that was given to me by my father-in-law.Car is in really good shape not a rust bucket. I just got the inner fenderwells & firewall painted about two weeks ago & got the fresh bullet put in this past weekend. It has ladder bar suspension under it , don't know if I will keep it or change it back to leaf springs. Car is mini-tubbed with a set of 15x9 1/2 Welds w/ 315-60 M/T Drag radials & 15x6 front. Motor is a.30 over 69 340 with new flat tops,M/P 292 duration 509 lift cam,stock rods w/ARP fasteners,fresh set of X HEADS W/Ferrera undercut valves,hardened seats, bronze guides, comp springs & pushrods, 273 adj. rockers ( working on getting a set of roller rockers) w/ ARP Fasteners, 340 HI-PO EXHAUST MANIFOLDS,running EDDY PERFORMER w/HOLLEY 750 D/P. Backed by a fresh 727 w/ reverse manual valve body,3000 converter & 8 3/4 Suregrip w/ 489's. I hope it runs pretty good.
