no reverse lamps

I have a 65 Dart convert and the rear back up lamps are not working. Yes the bulbs are good and the only thing if the switch on the tranny wiring goes to a connector under the console. any ideas?

Check to see if you have 12 V at the back up light connector, if not check the body plug connector by the drivers left foot panel. 2nd. generation A body it is a violet wire. Car has to be in reverse and the key is on. Engine not running.

If you do have 12v at back up connector more than likely you do not have a good ground on the back up bezel.

You did check the fuse?
