no washers ?

I just pulled the 2 barrel intake manifold off my girlfriends 66 barracuda 273.
There was no washers on the manifold? Is this correct? I'm not going to put my LD4B on it without washers.

the one and only reason I am building a 410 stroker is to be just a little different than the normal 408.
its hard for me to argue that the English people speak English wrong? that's almost like saying we're more American than a Native American? stupidity!
most of the time you're trying your best to give good advice!
