Non factory cam upgrades?

Wondering if anyone has made the swap from the SRT MAX to another grind and what improvement you saw (if any)?

Or Vica Versa.

Im especially interested in cars that are running factory slugs and unported heads.....so we're talking about differences at the less radical end of the scale...


Reason I ask is that Ive dyno simulated 4 well known grinds ( Arr ST3-A, SRT MAXPLUS, HHP Stage 2R, and a PWR Grind).

All four cams have similar durations although the lift varies - but the results showed little between them as far as peak tq and hp....two showing peak tq higher and earlier and two showing peak tq later - but not a lot of difference in peak HP ouput.

So any real world experiences out there on upgraded that have worked from one aftermarket stick to another?
 
Look at one in the 110 lsa zone imo. You want something that uses all available room in the engine and doesn't compromise performance for idle or mileage quality.
 
Mine is currently at 110 lsa, 218/227@.50 555/565 lift

Just wondering if theres better profiles out there that will still work with factory slugs?
