Just curious but can your tester tell the difference between spark advance etc ?
And are the aftermarket boxes like Echlin built to perform just like the factory unit ?
I don't know if I worded those questions correctly but hopefully you get my intent...

Just runs it througy al the spark cycles same as a parts stores tester. I woud say the boixes are factory stock appications, Dont think any Manufactures except the big HP names made HP boxes that I have come acress, Chrome doesnt mean it it faster aftermarket. Just looks nicer.

Are you saying these are "Chrome ECUs" as in Mopar Performance style, or "Chrome ECUs" as in just the color chrome? Because I've kinda been lookin for a MP Chrome box.

As in color, doubt Echelin ever made them like the MP ones. Getting hard to find Rob Good. I have one that I got I use for testing components. Put up a want add after thr one up right now is found. Maybe?

Thanks, Ray. I did put up a thread in the ignition section askin if anyone has tried the Mancini orange boxes. No response yet. At least intelligent ones.

Rob easy to tell if they are real, look in the how to thread. Bunch of fakes out there from Summet and Jegs, yes licensed MP product but made in china.

Yeah I know how to tell that, thanks. I will probably end up trying a Mancini unit.
