Hi Folks,

does anybody have some experience with the parts from Ohio Crankshaft? I can get their stroker kit (cast crank, rods, KB Pistons) from a reliable dealer here in germany.

Nice if someone can share his knowledge in this case.

Thanks in advance

Michael

yes I bought a 410 kit from them [.040 360/4 inch crank]

Have yet yo run,I'll let you when I do.

Stuff looks nice though and balance checked out too.

Keep this in mind, those kb356's need milling cause they pop up around .100 out of the hole, and it would be a good idea to put you're heads on the block and from underneath scribe a line on the head using the bore as a guide and relieve the chamber, see the quench pads come close if not touch the edge of the chamber/deck being that the chambers are considerably smaller round than the bore.

Then if open chamber, all pistons hung on rods w/bearings/no rings check p/d height and mill quench pads off the obtain .039-.040 thou out of the hole. Always check chamber depth with sum clay or kraft singles[I know it sounds 'cheesy' but I could not find my clay]

Basically a final check with clay on piston is needed to make sure everything clears.

oh and you'll need to mill the heads down to at least 62cc for any real compression like 9.9-10.1

Hi,

thanks for the information. I know about milling the pistons, will check how much if i put things together. Want to achieve zero deck after milling because the plan is to use closed chamber heads. Do you think this will create any problems?

Thanks again

Michael
