Put my 383 in my 68 barracuda and bought a new BB radiator from classic industries.
But the lower hose lines up with filter.
Do I need a different type filter ? Or did they send the wrong radiator?

I would say your aftermarket radiator is a tad off.

If you can return it do it.

Call Glen Ray and get the right piece. Save some cash you will need it but you will not regret it!

I could not source an 065 for my 69 but got this 033 from Glen Ray and could not be happier!

Yes, look at the bottom hose outlet on the radiator relative to the edge of the radiator.

On the original equipment car, it is almost even with the outer edge of the radiator.

On the "new" replacement in the Original Poster's car, it looks like it's moved inward about one radiator hose diameter.

Look at the relationship of the edge of the radiators to the drain holes in the lower sheet metal below it. They look like the same position in both cars, so the outlet must be in the wrong location vs the radiator being out of dimension....

The oil filter location can't change relative to the engine....
