oil pan recommendation

Ok need oil pan recommendation for my small block stroker engine. It's going in a 72 dart street strip car. Will be a auto with Doug's 1 5/8 headers. I'm thinking of the Milodon 30941 pan it's 7 quarts and not much deeper then stock like a half inch I believe. Just wondering how well they fit and if I would need to notch k member or have problems with headers clearance. Look forward to suggestions

Most installs of the Milodon I have seen require a small notch to the K frame.

Some do, some don't the link tells you which ones do in the descriptions.

I'm going with a Part # M301 | M302 series pan myself. It will hold 1 extra quart and have no clearance issues that I know of.

Think the kevko one is deeper than the Milodon one so it has less ground clearance ...

I have the milodon on my 360 I believe. Had to notch out the k frame a bit, but that took 10 minutes. It sits completely flush with the k frame, so you don't have to worry about ground clearance. Run a windage tray too if you can.

That's crazy on the Milodon pans that u have to notch k member. Who wants to do that .
