oil pressure guage, would this work?

Hate the look of the guage pods hanging under the dash, and don't really have a lot of room with 8-track hanging under the ashtray. I would like to add an oil pressure guage, something small and unobtrusive and ran across this, and wondered if it would work?

It should with just some simple fitting. And maybe a magnify glass...

It has the 1/8" npt so it should work. Just difficult to see.
