Formally KBCUDA (still known as such on moparts), now KBDUSTER. Had to sell the '73 rallye red eddie headed 550 Hp, hemi 4-speed 3.54 dana 'cuda. Starting over again with a super clean '72 duster. No motor yet. thinking of the 408 M.P. short block and going from there. Just thought I'd say HI.
The 71 demon pro-street in my avatar I owned back in 96 or so.That was my last A-body up till now. Other A's I've owned included a 71 demon 340- 4speed 3.91 butterscotch car, 1967 dart GT with a nasty 360 and 4-speed, and a 68 dart gts 340 4 speed all original dark forest green with red longitudinal stripe....
 
the demon in the avatar is a car i USED to own. Just picked up a 72 duster that's super clean and solid. Think it's original paint still on it. It came as a b5 /b5 slant six car with deluxe interior and A/C and that's about the only options. Previous owner swapped in an biscuit mount style v-8 k-frame and a 318. Ran it that way for a few years and then when the tranny started to slip went to swap in a hot 360/727 combo they had. They tried to install it with hooker super competition headers and couldn't get them to fit so they gave up. So i bought it with the 318/904 out of the car.
I noticed they installed a new idler arm and it's not tightened down at all. Kinda scares me that maybe they put in a weird k frame or changed the suspension around. Just don't want to run into problems when I put another engine in...
 
Here's a pic from the for sale ad. haven't had a chance to take any myself. trying to decide wether to paint it first or put together an engine....man the size restrictions for pics is very limited...

super solid non undercoated car. originally b5 still haven't taken a close enough look to see if it's the original paint on there still. It appears to be though. Has b5 interior. Think I should stay with b-5 or another blue or change it to silver/orange/purple/lime/or sassy?

heck, pull engine, then paint, then put the engine in...that's what I should've done to mine...but noooo....

let's get going on the pics eh? :)
 
came with engine out. I just don't have money to do both. so was wondering if i should put it a nice engine/drivetrain and enjoy it for a while till i save enough up for paint or just start wit the paint and not drive it for a year or two...Hey Giggly what size tires are you runnning in the back of that white duster of yours?

Same thing I did, got it road worthy and am enjoying driving it. Maybe I'll win the lotto and will do the body sometime!

The tires are 275/60 - 15 on cragars with 4 1/2" bs
