Pennsylvania Title status

Does anyone know if there is anyway to see if a title has been issued in Pennsylvania. I traded in my Explorer to a Ford dealership and they are telling me the title for the traded vehicle did not come in yet. There is some money involved in this matter.

Go to your state rep.
6 months after I bought my 68 I still hadn't gotten the title. My state rep took care of it. Turned out it was the notary's fault, not PennDOT.
He also got me a birth certificate that I needed to get a TWIC card for work.

I truthfully have no idea how the PA DMV operates. I bought a truck cash in full in sept and still don't have a title. I have registration, but no title. I've been trying to get a replacement title for a Harley for over a year. My brother in law backed out of the purchase after he signed the title. It also took me about a year to get the title to one of my company trucks after I paid it off. Harrisburg is way more dysfunctional than any other place I've dealt with.

When I went to my state rep, I had not received my title either. They asked me for insurance info in case PennDOT needed it. A week later I got my title AND a license plate. So.... I took it out for a ride thru the neighborhood. One seat, race slicks, no exhaust. FUN.
