Hello. I am new to the slant six community and I am wanting to get a little more than is given from my slant six. I have already purchased a four barrel intake and carb alongside a set of headers. What else can I do to help bump up my horsepower?

Cam and valve springs. But swapping rear gears to 3.55-3.91 will have better results

Increase compression, a larger cam, increase compression, larger exhaust, increase compression, port cylinder head, and increase compression.

And while you're at it, you can shave the head and/or block for more compression!
