pic's or advice on Dzus Install- Glass Hood A Body

Glass hood I bought isn't as straight or as strurdy as I hoped. Thinking of running aluminum strips along the inside of the fenders and going w/Dzus buttons to stiffen it up (hoodpins ain't gonna cut it). Similar to this pic....



Anyone have other pics or advice....

Here is a idea.If you go to a local body shop supply store you can purchase a tube of 3M glue used for body panels like on saturns and GM cars and truck/mini vans.You can make brakets to glue on the plates to support the hood lock and brackets to attach the hood hinges and run no springs on the hinges.You use a pop rod to hold the hood up and can still use some dzus fasteners or some sort of hood pin system.Mrmopartech
