Piedmont Mopar show @ Farmington Dragway 5-9-26

This is THE Mopar show in NC that you don't want to miss! Their club has done this show for 40 years and they do a phenomenal job! Since Rockingham Dragway moved the spring Mopars at The Rock show to be back to back weekends with THIS show, if I had to pick one over the other to go to, it would be Farmington. Hope to see a lot of you there!

Good show, as always! Lots of cars and the Swap meet had 6 or 8 rows of vendors. I only walked out with a nice 1965 NC car tag to put on my 65 Barracuda when I get it done, and an NOS clutch rod boot that goes on the firewall. What was so funny about the firewall clutch boot was.....I paid the asking price of $9 after being willing to purchase one on here for $20 and then getting ghosted by the seller.

There was a rumor quietly going around that after 40 years of putting on this great show, this may be the last time Piedmont Mopars puts it on. They have done a phenomenal job of organizing and putting on the show every year since 1986. Like the rest of this hobby, these fine folks that do this show are ageing out of being able to do all of this. It seems that there are very few young people in their club to take over. The young folks that are in the club are involved with the show and do a good job. Just not enough of them for a changing of the guard. I sincerely hope that the rumor is just that......a rumor.
