Please help. Slant 6 3 speed to 360 3 speed z bar help

Ok im swapping my slant 6 3 speed duster to a 360.3speed. I have my moter and tranny in and i just now went to put all my clutch links in and the slant 6 z bar is to long. Can i cut it down? If so how much do i cut it????? Please help i ready to drive my car again

I don't see why not. Ask someone who has a V8 bar and get measurements. Why not go hydraulic? I'm using a Willwood clutch master cylinder and a Howe pull type slave cylinder. There are many threads here on how to do it. I just don't know how to add a link. Maybe someone else will chime in.

Thats alot more than im trying to get into at the momant for my budgit im just trying to figer out how much i need to cut off my /6 z bar. Im running a 360 with a 10 1/2 ince bellhousing to a 3 speed a body trans. Thank you tho
