First off i believe that i have a leak in my back cylinder. I was told today by a guy that if i remove the hose from the main cylinder to the back brakes then put a nail in the hole it will be fine to drive tell i have the money to fix it! Please could someone tell me what to do. I'm i delivery driver and i need my car!!

thats crazy ****. find the hole and cut it in two and throw a compression coupling if its metal or if its rubber replace it. dont risk your life and others. If you dont have fully functioning brakes you are endangering everyone on the road.

No nails to fix brake leaks.......You can probably get a wheel cylinder for $10 or so. You can do it.....Brakes are so important!

First off never listen to that guy again. It's your life and others on the road so fix it right. Pull the rear whells off and see what the problem is. Brake parts are not that expensive and surely worth less than your life. You can replace a wheel cylinder or rebuild the one you have if it is in good enoygh shape. Clean everything with brake kleen.

Ok thank you all this is why i ask! I'm new at this car thing (But I'm learning fast) Ill start finding the right parts and get to work! You all are the reason i got on here in the first place. Thanks again!!!

Remeber, all go and no whoa, makes you dead.

If you want to run the risk of killing a 4 year old little girl with a basket full of puppies, put a nail in the hole.

If not, spend $10 and fix it right.
