Plug wires with hooker headers

To anyone using the hooker 5208 fenderwell exit headers, what plug wires are you using?

Accel 8.8 wires on mine

Any issues with meltdown? I wrapped my headers where the plugs are and put the socks over the boots and have the wires looked away from the primary tubes. Wires melted anyway. Brand new summit spiralcore wires.
