Pot metal front clip parts...

Ok If you know what i'm taking about it is the Front piece that mounts the the fenders that kinda has that curve part to the fender It is pot metal and makes the seam line between the headlight part and the fender...Would people think of joining the 2 together so that it looks like a full fender or do most just add it on and line it up to the body?

in the pic the part thats over the headlight on the Fender is what i'm talkin about...

Thats a fender extention. The earlyer ones 70-71 were fiberglass and the later ones, around 72 were pot metal I think. Never seen them smother over. Most people just line them up like the factory did. I don't see why you could not smoth them though if thats what you want to do.
