I pulled my engine about 5 years ago just to clean and paint the bay:angry7:
anyway I'm getting ready to drop it back in, here's my plan, I'm going to put new gaskets and seals in it and new valve seals in my heads, should I lap my valves and if so whats the correct way to do so, I have the tool, wife got it for me last year:cheers: I'm also putting in a new timing chain set, I turn the engine over a few times a week and keep it lubed with a drill so the bearings should be fine, am I missing anything:dontknow: or should I do more the engine had 45000 on the rebuild when it went on the stand, thanks mark
