Got a good friend on the board here that's tried a couple of Pro Comp items and he says they are cheap knock off chinese imports, they steal others designs, and do a very poor job of it. He says never again, no way, no how will he ever buy a Pro Comp product.

Gotta keep in mind that when it craps out you need part's or a replacement. I think you might need a tow with this one..not because it's crap but because where are you going to get part's for it? Not locally..

A better option is to convert your current dist to HEI if it' see's lot's of street duty. It'll cost under $100.

On the other end of the scale I'd pick an MSD ready to run dist.. MSD is stocked on the shelves of many jobber stores, easy to get a replacement.

I wrote about my install, now I see there are a few others. I am not too satisfied. My miles have been limited. Worried about going too far from home. The insides and electrical parts scare me. Have a miss only when warm, and light throttle just off idle. Put a kit in carb, throttle shaft good. Going back to original distributor for test.

I myself think our classics deserve better than cheap crap parts. Try explaining to the Chevy and Ford guys when youre broke down. Not me.
