Proper Antenna for 68 Cuda

Which is the politically correct antenna for a 68 Barracuda?, the one with the housing straight up or the other with a 90 degree angle.

Im thinking the bottom pic is 67...looks a lot the same as Dads 67 cuda?? Not sure if 68 was the same or not.

I agree Steve, the one with the 90 degree angle makes sense to me considering the wire needs to run back towards the inside of the car.

Just went out and looked at mine. It does turn a 90 like the bottom one above.

my 68 340 fastback s is around 95% original. the rather dusty and somewhat corroded antenna is the same 90 degree angle as the bottom one you have pictured. because the antenna is somewhat forward of the windshield on the top of the passenger fender and the wire goes through the body right behind the plastic kick pannel on the passenger footwell, the angle makes the wire run straight to the wire hole.
