pushbutton and speedo cables with dougs

did anyone with dougs have any issues with them ,i keep looking at the headers and the space ,im really not looking forward to doing this swap

Not on a A body but a buddy has a 62 Dart, 440, Edelbrock Victor Heads with Dougs and cooked both shifter and speedo cables. Twice.He recently switched to TTI's so far so good. Not a good comparison,just a thought.
