So I bought the flocked quarter window seals from DMT. They are nothing like the originals. They are thicker and extremely hard to get in the channel. And then once they are in, they are thick enough they sit distorted twisting outward. This causes it to push the door window out, and when you roll the door window down then back up, it goes on the inside of the quarter window seal. Anybody make them more like the originals? Thanks!

In the pics, DMT on the left and original right.

I would call Dmt and ask them. Maybe you have the seal for a post / 4 door vs hard top.

I replaced mine a few years ago and they looked like the OEM pieces and were EXTREMELY hard to get in one inch at a time. My thumbs were sore for a week

Well I went and dug the package they came in out of the trash. The website listing shows they work for 67 Barracuda but the same part number on the package does not list 67. I emailed DMT. We'll see what they say

I just installed these.
New ones look like fastback, seal goes into the door glass.
Old ones look like notch, seal goes in the rear glass.

Also, the channel in mine, a fastback, has prongs sticking out top and bottom.
Impossible to slide in new seals.
Had to completely remove stainless window trim.

Hopefully everything is ok with Richard, I met him at Moparfest this year and had a great visit.
Glad DMT was able to sort it out.
Looks like he hasn't been active since the middle of September. And the website link in his signature doesn't work. Does he have a working website?
