quercetin benefits the heart

-
I am always interested in reading about things to benefit my health. It takes some discipline to dodge the bad things. I have zero friends or family that even want to hear it.
Every morning, I start with a bowl of oatmeal, a big red apple, and a hand full of walnuts. During the day, I may snack on pistachios or pecans. And I drink herbal tea. Then late afternoon, I make a big salad with lettuce, a big tomato, diced onion, an avocado, then cover it with black beans, and top it off with 3 tablespoons of chunky salsa or cilantro/lime taco sauce.
All my blood test results are good. My overall cholesterol is 171. A1c is 5.6.
Now I don't consider this difficult. I can still go to lunch with a friend and eat chips and dip, maybe a Mexican lunch special, or Japanese Hibachi chicken, veggies and rice.
I don't feel deprived.

Been taking quercetin since 2020. Also tumeric, ginger, beet root supplements with a multi and krill oil if I don't one of these in the pic (with saltines) every few days. No actual problems. Also walnuts, pepitas, flax, and chia seeds sprinkled into other meals depending on what it is.
