question about superstock hemi windows

In order to have the window go up and down with the strap, do I need to remove the window crank and anything else? does the window move fairly easy without window crank (and any other parts that need to be removed)?

that was the purpose, to remove the added weight of all the guts in the door. everything goes but the tracks. if you use stock glass it will be quite heavy, i think most guys now are using lexan. its flat glass, you can make it yourself.
