Got my aluminum housing and pump today....got to puting it on, and accidentally separated the motor plate from the block. I used the gaskets between the plate and block, and just RTV between the housing and the plate....is this ok???

also, the mancini housing has in/out holes for the heater hoses, and another larger that i put an adaptor and my temp sending unit into. there is also a small hole on the driver's side of the top of the housing that the sender fits without an adaptor. i thought maybe it would be better to put it there and plug the larger hole by the heater hoses with a pipe plug, since that would put the sender away from the heater hoses, possibly giving a more accurate indication of water temp?????

LAST....i got an aluminum radiator with the lower hose on the driver's side to fit the pump housing, and upper on the passenger. What hoses would fit correctly???

thank you
