Did Chrysler change the color codes for the engine/ignition - wiring harness between 1972, and 1975, on the Plymouth Duster ? I've been busy building a cheapo pro touring inspired street car. I haven't had the interest to even remotely inspect how the car was wired in 1975. Back almost a decade ago, ( I know some people are going, ha ? ) I was installing a MSD hemi 6 box, and I needed the start, and run wires. ( just of my head ) I think they were supposed to be, one brown/yellow stripe, and one blue, and they ended up being brown/yellow stripe, and dark green. I have a 1972 service manual, but if 1975 is different, than I'd like that manual. ( which I'll probably sell when I'm finished, it sort of useless once you've reengineered everything between the vinyl roof, and the tire contact surface.)

Thank you very much. I stole the complete harness I made out of the Barracuda with all the accessories still plugged in, hoping that maybe the quick key, to the duster install. Still that doesn't give me the right to do a messy job. The information you provided will help.

I would imagine with a little modification you'll get it to work out for you. There really isn't a lot of wire to mess with and some is very consistent. Wire connectors are "Packard 56" type, available from weather pack, and can be obtained from NAPA, O'reilly etc. Then you can keep everything factory like.
