Anybody know if a 67 radiator core size 17x19x1 1/4 would fit in 63 with a 170/6. 63 seems to be it's own beast. 1 800 radiator only carries radiators back to 67 for valiants.

I have a slant six rad with the off set bracket. I pulled out of my 65, not sure if it will fit but you can have it just pay the shipping?

Yes and no. 63's only used 19" radiators but 64 and later cars had 22" openings. So it takes a little work to fit a later radiator in a 63. You'll notice that the mounting flange on one side of the later radiator is probably 3" wider than the other. If you don't mind cutting it down, and drilling new holes, it can probably be made to fit. You could possibly drill new holes in your radiator support (passenger side) as well.

If you are having your 63 radiator re-cored, I think a later core can be adapted to your original "bowl" tanks.

65 Vart that's very generous. PM sent C130 Chief thanks for the this advice and other replies. Looks like the 63 has enough room to house the mounting flange if I drill some new holes.
