"rare" steering box ???

Are '70 Duster manual steering boxes really hard to come by ??

I'm seriously thinking of converting to manual steering.. What's a good, used box worth these days? Does anyone make an after market one?

I believe all 63-72 mopar standard manual steering boxes are the same for any mopar, just had a different arm bolted on. A good used box goes between $75-$150. Flaming River sells new and rebuilt units, they also have fast ratio boxes too.

I've got the Flamig River box in my '70 duster,love it much better feel for control of the car..

So you think the $450 or so is worth spending on the flaming river ?? We're planning on mostly racing, but some street, and wanna keep the engine bay as clean and light as possible..
