It's been a rough year with family health and a couple new jobs due to plants closing here in Michigan but I am finally working a stable new job, family obligations are in line and this weekend it is time to get my 68 Formula S with its new 416 (finished late last year) just before I put it away and my 67 Deville land barge convert going. I need to hook up the kickdown to my 416, airgap, demon carb. Tough deal unless I can find a way to floor it and use the Demon linkage shove the kickdown linkage all the way back. I am also worried about the stock motor mounts. Seems this motor is sitting on a bowl of Jello. I am thinking about taking it out easily tomorrow without any mods and following up with a Schumaker strap and Lokar kickdown cable set up. Should I just let it sit this weekend or will a mild drive hurt anything?
