rear brake

does anyone know if a vans 8 1/4 rear ends brake backing plates will fit and work on a 8 3/4 a body rear..tx j

They should, as long as it's an 8 1/4 not a 7 1/4.

Yep just make sure the backing plate has 5 holes for the housing flange compared to 4 hole backing plates which are 7 1/4 and all of the braking hardware drums and shoes will work to as long as its 10 or 11 inch stuff not 9
