Hey everyone,

I upgrading to large bolt pattern wheels on my 69 Swinger. Eventually I want to upgrade to disc etc but I am trying to go as cost effectively as possible for now. I figured I would just do the rear for now and do the fronts when cash flow allows. I am ordering the large bolt axles and I am using 15X7 steel wheels. My question is about the rear drums what do I need to do to make the larger bolt axles work? I haven't measured the drums so I am not sure if I have 9" or 10" drums I am hoping they are 10" and I was thinking I could get by with just using the drum from a 73 and up A-body is this correct? If I have 9" rears I guess I am up a creek and will have to upgrade the brakes. Will 10"-11" rear drums for a B-Body bolt up and work if I have to change? Any info is appreciated.
Thanks

if its an 8 3/4 they are so easy to change just get all the stuff for a big bolt pattern drums and the back of the drum that holds the shoes and wheel clynder and put it on when you have your axles out it all comes off with the bolts that hold the axles in SUPER EASY it will come to you when you see it
