Hey everyone,
I upgrading to large bolt pattern wheels on my 69 Swinger. Eventually I want to upgrade to disc etc but I am trying to go as cost effectively as possible for now. I figured I would just do the rear for now and do the fronts when cash flow allows. I am ordering the large bolt axles and I am using 15X7 steel wheels. My question is about the rear drums what do I need to do to make the larger bolt axles work? I haven't measured the drums so I am not sure if I have 9" or 10" drums I am hoping they are 10" and I was thinking I could get by with just using the drum from a 73 and up A-body is this correct? If I have 9" rears I guess I am up a creek and will have to upgrade the brakes. Will 10"-11" rear drums for a B-Body bolt up and work if I have to change? Any info is appreciated.
Thanks
