rear end swap

Will the rear axle and springs from a 1966 dart 270 4 door fit into a 72 dart 2 door?Also, what type rears did the 66 darts come with ....7.25,or 8.25.or??

The 66' has a 7 1/4. I put an 8 3/4 out of a '70 Dart in my '65 Valiant so I don't see that it wouldn't work the other way.

67's and up abody's were 2 inches wider, if i can remember
correctly, we had trouble early on trying to fit fenderwell headers
from a 66 to a 67, so i'm thinkin if the front was wider, the back was too
