I have had rear main's leak in the past and I am curious if anyone make's full circle rear seals for LA small blocks?

Or tips on installing one with out the rear main leaking would be helpful.

When you install the seal, put a light coat of RTV in the block and main cap. install the seal so that one end of the seal is about 1/8" below the block on one side and 1/8" above the block on other side so the parting line doesn't line up with the cap/block. Do the same on the cap. Make sure you have a bead of RTV on the end of the seals too. Don't forget to make sure the seal is in the correct way too. The "hollow side" goes toward the inside of the engine.

And put a thin film of motor oil on the lip of the seal so it does not start up dry and damage the seal.
