I'm restoring a 68 barracuda and wanted to remove my interior headliner. The headliner has installation hanging in bad condition. Does anyone know if the installation material contains any asbestos or any other harmful materials deemed not safe? I just want to be safe before the nasty process of removing this stuff.

Nothing bad, but I would still wear a dust mask, lots of dust up there.
Thanks, I was very concerned about that debris floating around. I will surely wear a mask during this process.
It may seem like over protection, but since it's overhead wear some eye protection to.
