research for 273

hi everyone I just bought a 1965 Plymouth Valiant Signet, it seems to be all original. When I researched the engine numbers the casting is for 1966-69 not sure if it is the original 273, can anyone give any more info

casting # 2806030-273-1
stamped # PM273R 25392602

This will help you decipher the number on the front of the block under the head.

They didn't put VIN numbers on the blocks until later...
