Resetting car alarm

Friend has a 2000 Dodge with after market alarm. The key fob got eaten up by battery acid when the battery leaked now the alarm won't disarm and can't start the car. Any suggestions?

There is uaually a valet switch you can push in combination with turning the key switch on and off to disarm it. I would call a local stereo/alarm installation shop they can probably help you out.

Thanks for the info. Thats why I like my alarm system, 90 lb. Dobby, to reset him only takes two biscuits.
