i have acquired a free one of these (the 70 model, first one)

http://www.sonicairsystems.com/product_soniccentblowers.php#70

but i just have the blower and bracket and idler...no motor (which i wouldn't need anyway)

think it'd be ok for a vehicular blower? i was thinkin based on the cfm, it'd be good for a low-boost small block, like one of my Ford 289s. i just don't know the capable rpm. the motor that was attached ran at 3600 rpm, and i think the pulleys were a 1.5 overdrive, so it would have spun at 5400. just got to dreaming because it was a free acquisition. and you have all seen some of my fabrication, so i don't think making the right pulleys or other components would be difficult.

Heck if you can make the brackets easy why not try. I'd try it just for the learning experience and the fact I like to build things. Let us know how it works if you try it. And if it works good and you come accross a second blower pm me. I might be interested.
